JCP Youth
Tas Trucks are proud partners of JCP Youth. JCP are dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk and vulnerable young people through the delivery of high impact programs.
They are a Tasmanian based organisation, working with young people on a national scale. The proactive, intervention programs are all based on personal development content. JCP Youth are committed to using their content and programming to create future leaders for our communities.

Old Scotch Collegians Football Club
The Old Scotch Collegians Football Club (OSCFC) was founded in 1935 by a group of Launceston business men who were ex students of Scotch College. Affectionately known as The Thistles, the club is renowned for being a family based club, with very strong ties to the East Launceston Junior Football Club and Scotch Oakburn College community. Even so, its players and supporters are drawn from many areas of the Launceston community. Supporting this club for more than 10 years Tas Trucks is excited to continue its involvement in 2024.

OUR STORY
Established November 29th, 1982
FRM Materials Handling Pty Ltd emerged from humble beginnings as a small workshop in Invermay, Launceston.
Initially focused on selling, servicing, and renting forklifts, the company quickly garnered a reputation for excellence in the materials handling industry.
Driven by a commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its clientele, FRM expanded its offerings by expanding its brand offering. This strategic move not only broadened the company’s product portfolio but also facilitated the establishment of branches in the key locations of Devonport and Hobart, thereby enhancing its accessibility and service reach across Tasmania.
The continuous pursuit of growth and innovation saw FRM’s forklift rental fleet soar to over 300 units statewide, a testament to its dedication to meeting customer demands with efficiency and reliability.
2009 Expansion
In 2009, FRM embarked on a significant expansion by becoming the Tasmanian dealer for Hino Trucks, marking its entry into the trucking industry.
This strategic move not only diversified the company’s offerings but also positioned FRM as a comprehensive solutions provider for both materials handling and transportation needs.
FRM went on to forge partnerships with industry leaders Linde, Baoli, and Manitou, solidifying its position as a trusted supplier of high-quality equipment and services. Additionally, collaborations with equipment specialists Safetech, Kanga, and Macrack underscored FRM’s commitment to providing comprehensive, tailored solutions that address the unique requirements of Tasmania’s business community.
As we embark on the next phase of our journey as Tas Trucks, we are determined to set new standards and drive positive change within the sector.
